Today’s Two years worth of growth natural hair feature

Why did I go natural? Honestly, at the time I already had a short tapered haircut and was too broke to maintain it so one night after just not getting a perm for about 2-3 months, I just cut the permed ends off. It was really different to see myself with short curly hair but as I’ve learned over the past two years, it was worth it. Being natural was the best thing I could’ve done for my hair and myself because it caused me to learn more about what my hair really likes. Most of all, it taught me that black hair grew and could do more than just be “there.” its versatile so I love wearing it curly with wash and gos in the summer or a full fro or straight in the cooler months. As far as my goals are concerned, I’d love to just make sure my hair is healthy but secretly if I get to bra strap length, I’d hit my dougie lol. Of course I’d love long, thick hair but that’s what healthy hair leads to so as long as I care for my hair, it will care for me too.
